WEBSITE LAUNCH


The Congress of Trade Unions and Staff Associations of Barbados (CTUSAB), will officially launch its website on Thursday, April 22, 2010, at Barbados Workers’ Union Headquarters, Solidarity House, Harmony Hall, St. Michael, 4:30 – 6:00 p.m.

 

The ceremony will feature remarks to be delivered by Mary-Anne Redman, 3rd Vice President, CTUSAB, and launch of the website by Sen. Sir Roy Trotman, President, CTUSAB.

 

HIV/AIDS EDUCATION WORKSHOP


The Congress of Trade Unions and Staff Associations of Barbados (CTUSAB) sponsored HIV/AIDS, two day Education Workshop, takes place on 26-27 April, 2010, at the Barbados Workers’ Union Labour College.  The workshop commences on Monday, April 26th, at 9:00 a.m., with a welcoming address to be delivered by Dennis de Peiza, General Secretary, of CTUSAB.

 

This workshop is facilitated by the Ministry of Labour HIV/AIDS Project Unit, and its participants are drawn from CTUSAB’s twelve Affiliates.

 

PUBLIC SERVICE NEGOTIATIONS


The Congress of Trade Unions and Staff Associations of Barbados (CTUSAB), will convene a special meeting of its affiliates to consider the objectives of its proposals to Government for the 2010-2012 Public Service Wages and Salaries Negotiations.

 

This meeting is scheduled for Thursday, April 29, 2010, 2:p.m., at Solidarity House.
